Joint Laboratory of Low Temperature

Text

Joint Laboratory of Low Temperature is a cooperation project of Institute of Physics (department 11), Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Department of Low-temperature Physics) and Faculty of Science of Charles University. The laboratory provides experimental channels to measure 57Fe and 119Sn Mössbauer spectra of surface layers or bulk materials from 4.2 K up to 1300 K, in external magnetic field perpendicular to the γ-rays up to 6 Tesla at low temperatures (up to RT), at increased hydrostatic pressure up to 50 GPa, and in vacuum or in a various ambient environment.
